Effective collaboration, whether within an organization or with external entities such as alliance partners or customers, is critical to performance. Organizational network analysis is similar to an “x-ray,” providing a view into an organizations’ internal workings to help management understand how work really gets done. With that view in hand, the necessary changes can be made to help achieve bottom-line results.
Consulting projects typically evaluate both group-level and personal-level networks. The results are twofold. The group-level results are shared via an in-depth presentation highlighting the key findings and associated actions to improve value-added collaboration within a strategic group. In addition, the personal-level results are provided in hardcopy form (in an approximately 20-page report) or via a confidential online Website where each respondent can develop an action plan to uniquely improve their own effectiveness through their personal connectivity.
