My Family

I consider myself very lucky to be able to return to Charlottesville to pursue a career in teaching with the University of Virginia. I am a double-hoo, graduating from the McIntire School of Commerce in 1989 and then the Darden School in 1994. In fact, I was born in Charlottesville in 1967 (some say I am returning to the scene of the crime).

I met my wife Debbie while we were both at Darden. Our little girl Rachel was born in 1999 while we were in Boston and the newest little terror, Connor, was born in 2002 right here in Charlottesville (in the same hospital I was born in). And somewhere in the fray we picked up the strangest cat in the world, Mario.

We all love outdoor activities ranging from hiking in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains to tennis and swimming at the Boars Head to horse back riding. And, of course, we support the mighty wahoos in every sport imaginable!!
